Come experience North End Sideways! We're bringing a unique cosmic radio receiver from Tunisia to Detroit's North End -- a historic neighborhood famous for its musical history.

On June 24, we're hosting a "Drift" for the 2026 MdW Summit in Detroit and would love to see you! MdW (Midway) is presenting a regional art conference that includes workshops, an exhibition, book fair and lots of conversations about the challenges and joys of being an artist in these bewildering times. "Drifts" are short events where local art groups introduce visitors to their work.

We're participating by introducing our Falling Sideways series and plunging into Detroit's music history from the perspective of insightful locals. North Ender Reshounn "Sun" Foster - cosmic interpreter, board member, seer and memory keeper - will tell you more as we share our story and take a music-filled stroll to legendary sites along Oakland Avenue.

The receiver from our Tunisian "Falling Sideways" performance will amplify North End stories about being the original land that rooted Motown, Techno, R&B/Soul, Blues, and other genres. We are also uplifting the cultural arts organizers and neighborhood developers stewarding the history’s future of the North End.
